She teaches music in the Jefferson County Public School System and is organist/director at Grace-Hope Presbyterian Church in Louisville. She's also a member of the American Choral Directors Association, Music Educators National Conference, National Black Music Caucus and American Society of Composers, Arrangers and Publishers (ASCAP). Patsy is widely known throughout the United States as a composer and arranger of spirituals and pop songs that have been published by Jenson Publications, Gentry Publications, Fred Bock Music Company, Shawnee Press, Coronet Press, and Candela Music Press, Inc. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Patsy received her B.S. degree in Music
Education from Knoxville College and her M. Ed. from the University of
Louisville.
