Timothy Shaw, a native of Keene, NH, is Associate Professor and Chair of Music Theory & Composition at Philadelphia Biblical University in Langhorne, PA. He has studied at the University of Connecticut (Ph.D. ABD, Music Theory & History), Temple University (Master of Music in Composition), and Philadelphia Biblical University (B.Mus. in Composition, B.S. in Biblical Studies). He has composed extensively for the church, and his music now appears in the catalogs of Fred Bock, Augsburg Fortress, Choristers Guild, Concordia, Hope, MorningStar Music, and Neil A. Kjos music companies. He regularly fulfills commissions, including those for David Kim (Philadelphia Orchestra concertmaster) and Anne Martindale-Williams (Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra principal cellist), among others.
