This Advent hymn was first published in 1928 on a text by English poet Eleanor Farjeon (d. 1965). Here, Mitchell Covington sets the jaunty tune for mixed chorus divisi accompanied by piano four hands. Found in a number of hymnals and carol collections, the piece is appropriate for worship or concert settings
