The Gift Of Giving (With Simple Gifts) – 2 part/opt. 3 part

The Gift of Giving with Simple Gifts incorporates the American Shaker folk tune, “Simple Gifts” with an original partner song creating a lyrical countermelody with piano accompaniment. Great for developing choirs, this piece is perfect for any time of year, but could be a focus for your winter holiday or Thanksgiving concerts. Help remind your singers and your audiences that the best gift is to give freely of ourselves. The Music Educators National Conference has named “Simple Gifts” as a song that “everyone should know.”
