The Hallel (Psalms of Praise and Thanksgiving) is a medium length work from well-known composer, Lloyd Larson. The Hallel refers to six Psalms, Psalms 113-118, which in the Jewish tradition is one continuous prayer, a prayer used during certain Jewish Holy Days. Larson has set the text using several engaging musical styles in a multi-movement work, which is useful for times of thanksgiving and praise. The Hallel is flexible, and may be used either for worship or unique concerts opportunities, with included optional narrations and medium-sized orchestra.
