Description
On texts of Sara Teasdale, these two brief pieces by Stuart Chapman Hill are scored for four part treble chorus with piano. While the extensive unison writing allows clarity of the text, the multi voice chordal structures draw out the power of the Teasdale texts. Consider programming the work during Women’s History Month or within a group of Teasdale choral settings.
