Movement 1 has the elegant cheer of wishing success and the music portrays it nicely.
Movement 2 employs two folk songs, the 1st in a minor key about love and the 2nd about the rigors of the postman delivering mail. Excellent contrast!
Movement 3 has a drummer boy initating the energy and vigor of a marching band on parade. Great appeal!
